3 months old already...

Yesterday Allie turned 3 months old... It is going by quickly! & I want the clock to slow down! On Friday Allie went to the Library for the first time. She loved it! I heard her giggle for the first time! It made me a bit emotional! I was so excited to hear her laugh! Of course we are waiting to hear her do it again... bc it was so darned cute! She really loves to "talk"- and she just found the love of the TV- we got her some baby einstein videos from the library & I now know what to get her for christmas! She loves them so much!! Here are some pictures from the pumpkin patch!

Its already October....

I can't believe that it is already October. Kelsey's b-day is this weekend, and mine is next month. I turn the big 3-0- and am SO excited...
Allie is getting so big and will be 3 months old next week! She is obsessed with her hands and is putting them in her mouth! She is also starting to hold onto little toys. She is good at sitting up in her little chair (bumbo)- and she smiles all the time. It is so cute in the mornings when she is just "talkin" up a storm. She is slowly starting to sleep thru the night. Right now she sleeps about 6.5- 7 hrs at a time. She is really focusing on the world around her right now! Such an alert little girl!
I am starting up a baby buisness selling random baby stuff like burp rags, onsies, tutus, and other various items- look for more info to come.
I have also been in baby shower mode for the last 2 months. I had 1 girlfriend have a baby girl in August, and another is due any day now with a little boy, and two more girlfriends due Next Month also with little boys! Allie will have her hands full with all these little boys! Another hobby I have picked up is making cakes for my friends.. I am having so much fun with all the baby stuff going on!

We miss you Mollie!!

Tomorrow is one year since we lost our little Mollie! It will be a sad day for us- but the great thing about her dying on such a festive holiday is that we will always be able to celebrate her life.

I picked up Mollie the night I moved from College Station to Dallas! I was so excited to have her and was instantly in love. A month and a 1/2 later when I met Kelsey she stole his heart as well! She quickly became his little baby! We joked that even though I picked Mollie as my baby she picked Kelsey as her daddy!

Its a little bitter sweet as Mollie was our very first baby- to celebrate her life and to bring our first child into the world almost 1 year to the day that we lost Mollie! I guess that when one door closes another opens.... We miss you Mollie!

3 more weeks... or will it be 2- another Dr's apt..

Well we went to the dr yesterday and I have officially made it past 36 weeks! We are now at the 37 week mark and the little stinker has moved back to the transverse position. Next week at my 38 week apt (if I don't go into labor before) we will check again and see if she moved head down- if she has not we will schedule a manual version (where they move her head down from the outside) and if she still won't turn it looks like a C-section will be in our future... Momma is getting very uncomfortable with this little head in my ribcage!!

5 weeks to go...

We went to the Dr's Office on friday and we were able to see Allie on the sonogram. She looks absolutely perfect! We were able to see her making a sucking face on the sonogram. I think it was the cutest thing ever. The sonogram measured her at just a little over 6lbs at 35 weeks! The Dr allowed me to get off the medication that was stoping my contractions. This is a good thing bc the medicine was awful to take. I will still be on "modified" bedrest until at least 36 weeks. After 36 weeks I can resume "normal" activities bc it will be just fine for her to come any time after 36 weeks! We shall see if she stays in 5 more weeks!
